PUSHKIN GOLDEN AUTUMN BALL

The famous Pushkin Golden Autumn Ball will be held on October 11th 2008, at the Catherine Palace in the town of Pushkin, so named because this is the place where the great poet studied and made his first impressions as the future star of Russia.

The Pushkin Fund with the support of the Grand Europe Hotel and under the Patronage of H.S.H. Prince George Yourievsky will host an unforgettable evening in the style of the Pushkin epoch.

Catherine Palace, with its splendid gardens and array of fantastic rooms, is regarded as the premier venue for hosting Russia’s most opulent events. The most elegant and glamorous event of the fall season in St.Petersburg, the Pushkin Golden Autumn Ball attracts elite international guests from the realm of business, politics, and culture. Guests will also have the extraordinary opportunity to tour the splendors of the Palace including the world renowned Amber Room. Limited to 300 formally seated guests, the Ball will feature an extraordinary Pushkin epoch scenario with top entertainment, exquisite dining and dancing into the evening.

Last years Gala activities raised over € 70,000 for selected charitable grantees including the Hospital #15, Pushkin National Museum, and Pushkinsky Dom.
