Znamenov Vadim Valentinovich

General Director of State Museum-Reserve "Peterghof".

He was born on December 17th 1936 in Leningrad. Graduated from History faculty of Leningrad State University (1963). From 1965 is working in "Peterghof" museum. Author of books and articles dedicated to Museum-Reserve, published in Russia and abroad. Member of presidium of Russian Commitee of International Museums Board (ICOM). Honored worker of culture of Russia. His authority among colleagues is high and indisputable. Awarded with order of Nation Friendship, "For merits to Motherland" 4th degree and medals. Married, has a daughter.
