Events 2006 - 2008 Dinner Amical in Podvorye |
On March 17, 2006 the Dinner Amical regularly organized by the Russian Brunch of the Chaine des Rotisseurs took place in Podvorye restaurant (Pavlovsk). Informal dinner devoted to winter farewell collected more than 40 people, members of the Chaine des Rotisseurs and friends. All the guests were welcomed with traditional "bread and salt" near the fireplace in front of the restaurant. The vodka from ice samovars, red and black caviar served outside near the open fireplace together with national Russian background music helped to create a unique warm and friendly atmosphere. After the welcome cocktail all the guests passed into the Restaurant were they could try delicious courses of traditional Russian cuisine - vinaigrette with salted milk mushrooms, cock aspic with homemade horseradish sauce, sterlet soup with nalim liver, served with traditional freshly baked fish pirozhki. Whole pig roasted on the broach, served with sauerkraut stewed with mushrooms, sour-cream and horse-radish sauce became the highlight of the program. All the night long guests enjoyed the live folklore music performed by Cossacks choir. The next Dinner Amical will take place in Triton restaurant in April. Vive la Chaine! |
